Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using PicTalk at getpictalk.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Service Description
PicTalk is a web application for creating visual support materials including communication boards, visual schedules, and social stories. The service is designed for families, educators, and healthcare professionals.
User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Subscriptions and payments
PicTalk Plus is a monthly subscription that renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time from Settings → Billing; access continues through the end of the current period. Prices are shown excluding VAT; VAT is added based on your country. We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on new Plus subscriptions — email hello@getpictalk.com to request a refund. One-time top-up image packs are consumable credits, never expire, and are non-refundable once consumed. On continued payment failure the account is downgraded to Free; your saved content is retained.
Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you create using PicTalk, including boards, schedules, and uploaded images. By using the sharing features, you grant PicTalk a limited license to host and display your shared content to the recipients you designate.
Prohibited Use
You may not use PicTalk to create content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its systems. You may not use the service for automated data collection or scraping.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Limitation of Liability
PicTalk is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the past 12 months.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the application. Continued use of PicTalk after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
